‘Emilia Pérez’ Songwriting Duo Touch On The World Needing More Music Like Theirs After Taking Home Best Original Song At Golden Globes
Camille and Clement Ducol took home the Golden Globe for Best Song in the film for their song ‘El Mal’ from Emilia Pérez marking another big win for the Netflix pic. The song was one of two nominations in the category and Camille, who wrote the song and spoke for the duo, said these types of songs are needed if if the subject matter is not very bright.
“Songs are butterflies and we need butterflies even if its to denounce corruption in the world, so first off, thank you to all singer/songwriters in the world,” Camille said.
