Dylan Dreyer Says Network Gave Her the ‘Best Birthday Present Ever’
Meteorologist Dylan Dreyer might have skipped going to Paris for the Olympics with her Today show co-anchors, but her most recent Instagram post proves she didn't miss out on anything.
Staying home meant that Dreyer had the opportunity to spend her 43rd birthday on August 2 with her three sons—Calvin, 6, Oliver, 4, and Rusty, 2—and husband, NBC News cameraman Brian Fichera. On August 4, the mom-of-three shared a sweet video of her boys wishing her a happy birthday, calling time with her little ones the "best birthday present ever."
"I’ve had a little downtime since I’m not at the Olympics and just being home with my family has been the best birthday present ever!! Thank you for all the birthday wishes…it was a wonderful day!!" Dreyer wrote in her caption.

As NBC Insider reported, Dreyer switched from her position on Weekend Today to her current post in January 2022, meaning she has more opportunities for "family time" on Saturdays and Sundays.
"It's all about family time," the weather correspondent said on Today. "You know, this job can get crazy especially when we're traveling and we're busy, but it's so important to make time for family too."
"These boys are my whole life and Brian and I, we love being a team on weekends and spending as much time as we can with them and having as much fun as we can," Dreyer added. "That's really all I'm going to be doing, just sitting at home and just loving up on those three."
