Dungeons & Dragons 2 Movie Teased by Chris Pine
During a recent interview with GamesRadar, Star Trek star Chris Pine addressed the the possibility of Paramount Pictures making a potential sequel to Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves. The live-action film adaptation made its theatrical debut this past March.
Pine revealed that he would “absolutely” be willing to reprise his role as the bard Edgin Darvis in the potential Dungeons & Dragons 2 movie. Despite the fantasy comedy’s poor box office performance, he believes that the sequel will eventually get greenlit by the studio. The film received positive reviews from critics, and is currently holding a Certified Fresh rating of 91% on Rotten Tomatoes.
“I’ve heard some rumors about it,” Pine said “But I don’t know anything yet. But I feel pretty confident that it may happen.”

Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves was written and directed by Game Night duo Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley. The film starred Chris Pine (Wonder Woman 1984), Michelle Rodriguez (F9), Justice Smith (Detective Pikachu), Hugh Grant (Four Weddings and a Funeral), Sophia Lillis (It films), Chloe Coleman (My Spy), and Bridgerton breakout Regé-Jean Page.
The Dungeons & Dragons movie was co-produced and co-financed by Hasbro, eOne, and Paramount Pictures. It was produced by Hasbro’s Brian Goldner and Jeremy Latcham as part of his deal with eOne, Hasbro’s entertainment arm.
