Drake has been trying to buy a $160,000 Harry Potter book for years
It’s no secret that Drake indulges in the finer things of life. If you listen to any of his songs, you’ll know that his tastes run from designer clothes to expensive jewelry to luxury cars.
But the superstar artist is missing one thing: a rare Harry Potter book. Specifically, a first edition of Harry Potter. He recently told the Hollywood Reporter he’s been looking for a copy for four years.
A first edition of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone can run $160,000. Drake told THR, “I should get [the book]. My birthday’s coming up. Maybe I’ll buy it for myself as a treat.”
Sorcerer’s Stone was the first book in the series and launched the worldwide frenzy. And while Drake’s Potter fandom might surprise you, he’s been vocal on social media.
Just copped all the Harry Potter wands in Copenhagen and I'm eating the best Indian food ever. Good day…word to Cube.

In 2014, he even spoofed Potter villain Draco Malfoy with a Photoshopped image.

Since his interview with THR, Drake celebrated his 31st birthday, but there’s no word on if he shelled out the money for the elusive Sorcerer’s Stone.
