Donald Trump Plays Word Association Game, Calls Ted Cruz ‘Nasty’ and Hillary Clinton ‘Evil’
Donald Trump was on MSNBC’s Morning Joe the morning of the New Hampshire primary and played a word association game with the gang. When prompted with a name of a fellow Republican presidential candidate by host Mika Brzezinski, Trump gave one-word answers. Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush elicited “loser.” Florida Sen. Marco Rubio brought out “confused.”
When he was asked about Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, Trump responded, “I was going to say ‘nasty,’ but he’s not really nasty. He’s been very nice. He goes on and off.” He then U-turned, though, adding, “I’ll say nasty.”
When he was asked about former President Bill Clinton, Trump said “intelligent.” The love for the Clinton family ended there, though. When Brzezinski named former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Trump replied, “In a certain way, evil. In a certain way, evil.”
