‘Doctor Who’ Christmas Special Trailer: Ncuti Gatwa, Nicola Coughlan Take on Danger and Dinosaurs
The first trailer for the Doctor Who Christmas special “Joy to the World” has dropped, and in the clip we see the Doctor, now without a companion after Millie Gibson’s Ruby Sunday said goodbye at the end of season 14, trying to save Christmas, everywhere, all at once.
The logline for the special reads: “When Joy checks into a London hotel in 2024, she opens a secret doorway to the Time Hotel — discovering danger, dinosaurs and the Doctor. But a deadly plan is unfolding across the Earth, just in time for Christmas.”
