Diddy Reacts To Joe Budden’s Review Of ‘The Love Album’
Diddy has reacted to Joe Budden’s honest review of his latest album, The Love Album: Off The Grid.
During a recent episode of The Joe Budden Podcast, Joe and his cohosts debated the Bad Boy founder’s recent offering. Budden showed love for the work and gave it a glowing review. He specifically talked about Puffy’s knack for executive producing and sequencing songs throughout the album.
“This whole sh*t is right,” Budden exclaimed. “The front-end gets you moving, the back-end is all joints. Teyana Taylor, f**kin all of this sh*t is crazy. What I liked is when I had the album, I didn’t know who all the features were. I liked that experience better because I didn’t know this was Teyana.
“Are you sh*tting me? How he dropped sprinkles of the f**kin H.E.R. instrumental throughout the project as some interlude sh*t and then end with it. Man, stop playing with me, man…This is absolutely insane if you are into R&B. It sound like classic H.E.R. off of the Babyface, ‘Kim Porter’ record. It’s a groove you gotta listen to this whole sh*t sequenced. This f**kin album made me wanna see my girl.”
The Harlemite reshared the clip on his Instagram and shouted out the “Pump It Up” rapper for his kind words. He echoed the New Jersey native’s sentiments and told fans to digest the music with “no skips.”
“To throughly enjoy the frequency of The Love Album, you must listen to it from top to bottom! No skips,” he asserted. “Get a joint, some @deleontequila, grab your bae or your boo, turn off the wifi and ride out!! Thank you @JoeBudden for the kind words!”
The Love Album: Off The Grid was released on Sept. 15. The LP includes Fabolous, Swae Lee, Jozzy, Nija, Busta Rhymes, NOVA WAV, Jacquees, Babyface, Summer Walker, and more.
