Demi Moore’s Daughters “So Beyond Proud” of Oscar Nominee After Best Actress Loss
Demi Moore may have lost the best actress Oscar many pundits expected her to win, but she’s still a winner to her daughters: Tallulah, Scout and Rumer Willis.
Tallulah posted a post-2025 Oscars photo of her mom looking happy in a bathrobe, cradling her dog Pilaf, in front of two large plates of french fries. She captioned it, “MY winner.”

Scout reposted the image with the caption “Queen of my heart”
And she added of her mom on her Instagram Story, “So beyond proud, this woman is nothing but integrity, bright beaming light and love! What grace. I’ve never been more proud to be her daughter.”
Prior to Sunday’s Oscars, Moore’s eldest daughter Rumer Willis shared her pride in her mom, who she called her “forever winner.”
“Watching you today, standing in your power, in your brilliance, in the culmination of decades of hard work, resilience, and undeniable talent — I have never been more proud. You have dedicated your life to your craft, pouring every ounce of yourself into the stories you tell, the characters you bring to life, and the barriers you continue to break,” Rumer wrote. “And tonight, the world gets to witness what I have always known: you are a force.”
She added, “From the moment I was old enough to understand what you do, I have watched in awe—not just as your daughter, but as a fellow actress—learning from the way you navigate this industry with strength, grace, and an unwavering dedication to your artistry. You have never taken the easy road. You have pushed boundaries, defied expectations, and time and time again, paved the way for so many women to step into their power. And here you are, still leading, still inspiring, still proving that greatness is not just about talent, but about perseverance, passion, and an unshakable belief in yourself. No matter what happens tonight, you are already victorious in my eyes. Because your legacy isn’t just in the awards or accolades—it’s in the way you have redefined what’s possible, for yourself and for every woman who dares to dream.”
Moore was predicted to win the best actress Oscar after she won the Golden Globe, Critics Choice and Screen Actors Guild Award for her role in The Substance, with the actress delivering a particularly memorable speech at the Golden Globes about how a producer had called her a “popcorn actress” and expressing her humility and gratitude for her first awards win in her 45-year acting career. Madison had won the BAFTA and Independent Spirit Award, making it a close race between the two actresses. At the Oscars, Madison’s triumph was just one of five wins, from six nominations, that Anora took home, with writer-director Sean Baker making history with his four trophies for the same film.
Moore also appeared gracious in defeat at the Oscars as cameras caught her smiling and putting her hands to her heart as Madison praised the work of her fellow nominees in the best actress category. And she seemed in good spirits at the Vanity Fair afterparty, which Moore’s daughters, whom she shares with ex-husband Bruce Willis, also attended.
Monday morning, Tallulah shared a fashion post from the Vanity Fair party and said she was “celebrating my hero, my mama @demimoore last night!”
And Scout shared a photo of her sisters and their mom, saying she has “never been more proud to be a part of this family.”
