Deiondra Sanders Goes Off On DeJ Loaf And Jacquees’ Mom Amid ‘F**k A Friend Zone’ Press Run
Deiondra Sanders isn’t here to fake the funk, and with her, anyone can get the smoke.
On Monday (Feb. 10), she called out her man, Jacquees, and his musical collaborator, DeJ Loaf—hinting that the latter was uncomfortable being around the couple. Sanders tweeted, “People gotta fake a relationship to [sell] albums. Stop asking me why I’m not around. I am not allowed to be around them cause Dej would feel uncomfortable if his fiancée there. As I said before yall got it yall won. Hope yall lil album sale the most yall done ever sold.”
The shade from Sanders comes one week after DeJ and Jacquees announced their F#*K A FRIEND ZONE tour and their new album, F**k A Friend Zone 2, slated for release on Valentine’s Day.
The shade continued over the next few days. DeJ tweeted, “Doing Press>Being Pressed,” as an apparent, albeit indirect, response to Sanders’ accusation.
After The Shade Room caught wind of that, Sanders commented on DeJ’s message with: “Being pressed is telling his momma Ms. Rosie how you still want him. Telling his momma u wish it was you. You and yo momma mad cause he proposed to me. You waited to see what Que would do before u came out with your girlfriend. Waiting around year after year and never choose. Dej keep it cute before I air all yo s**t out!!!”
Jacquees’ mom, Rosie Thompson, seemingly called Sanders a “dummy” on Instagram in response to a recent interview of hers where she claimed she was blocked from attending Jacquees and DeJ’s video shoot.
Amid the name-calling, Sanders took to her own page to fire back at Thompson. “Ms. Rosie better stop playing with me. Nobody is off limits now,” she wrote before accusing Thompson of “stealing and hiding” Jacquees’ money.
Thompson later thanked Deion Sanders for having Jacquees on his show, causing her future daughter-in-law to continue her rant. “They respected him and welcomed him with CLASS unlike y’all,” she noted.
Thompson replied, “This is so out of character for me… I know way too much for her to be coming at me.. This is Crazy…… Nooooooo girl…. And yet! I still tried to keep Life Beautiful… Damn!!!!! You just thought you were going to run stuff…. No Ma’am.”
Before concluding her sentiments, Sanders tweeted, “You’re welcome for the free promo! Sanders name gone do it every-time. I may talk a-lot and spaz but one thing they won’t say is imma liar. Everything I say be the truth. Now i’m done for real. I can’t keep embarrassing my family like this. Sorry yall. Back to the regular program.”
Despite the back-and-forth with the women in his life, Jacquees didn’t address the drama and heated exchanges because Sanders shifted the attention by sharing photos of their son, Snow, for the first time in honor of his half birthday. She also showcased him on Deion and Rocsi Diaz’s show, We Got Time Today.
