Dei V Shares ‘Quien Es Dei V?’ Album Featuring Myke Towers, Lunay
Dei V reintroduces himself on his new album Que Es Dei V? On Friday, the Puerto Rican star released his debut LP, featuring collaborations with Yovngchimi, Myke Towers, Lunay, and De La Ghetto.
“I worked very hard so that the fans could get a new taste, a new sound and it’s just a variety of flows and styles,” Dei V tells Rolling Stone. “I hope I inspire this generation of upcoming artists and I hope the fans remember this for the rest of their lives because I put 100 percent into this project so it could be as perfect as possible and legendary.”

The LP includes “Narcotics,” the singer’s viral track with Bryan Myers, and hears him jumping between hip-hop, urbano, and reggaeton across its 16 tracks. Among the LP standouts are “Ticke” with Yovngchimi and “PPV” with De La Ghetto, which hears the two musicians singing about a new romance.
“I want to thank my work team, my family, the producers, artists and fans without you this would not be possible,” the singer wrote on Instagram. “I hope you like it,”
Dei V’s new album also comes after a massive year for the artist, who jumped on Karol G’s Bichota Season song “Gatita Gangster” last year and joined her onstage for several shows during her Ma?ana Será Bonito tour. “Karol G marks a before and after in my career,” Dei V told Remezcla. “That was the song that put me on the map. I’m grateful to be a part of her album. That was the first time I sang to thousands and thousands of people.”
Rolling Stone named Dei V as one of the 19 Latin Artists We’re Rooting For this year, lauding the musician for his clever lyricism and for leading a new wave of traperos coming out of Puerto Rico.
