Dave Grohl Jokes He and the Foo Fighters Are on Their 'Errors Tour': 'I'm Feeling Like Taylor Swift'

Grohl also appeared to insinuate that Swift does not perform live

Dave Grohl and the Foo Fighters are feeling like Taylor Swift.

While performing in Manchester, England, on June 15, the frontman, 55, took several moments between songs to speak about the 14-time Grammy winner, 34, and her record-breaking Eras Tour.

Like Swift, the “Everlong” rockers are in the midst of the U.K. leg of their tour, inspiring Grohl to draw comparisons at the Manchester show. In concert footage captured by TikTok user StrettyEnd, Grohl said, “See, now I’m feeling like Taylor Swift!”

After his assertion, which was met with a mixed reaction from the audience, the frontman added, “I should be so lucky.”

“Listen — tonight, this is my Eras Tour, OK? I’ve got a lot of eras,” Grohl continued. “Spelled e-r-r-o-r-s. This is my ‘Errors Tour,’ how about that?”

“That’s what we should’ve called this f------ tour: The Errors Tour,” he added.

Later in the show, Grohl circled back to Swift and his “Errors Tour,” joking that it’s a suitable name because of all the errors his band makes while performing live.

"I know we were joking about the Taylor Swift tour earlier. I know that she’s on her Eras Tour,” the rocker said, inciting boos from the crowd. As the jeering continued, Grohl shook his head and said, “I’m telling you man, you don’t want to suffer the wrath of Taylor Swift.”

“So, we like to call our tour the Errors Tour,” he continued, “because I feel like we’ve had more than a few eras and more than a few f------ errors as well. Just a couple.”

Then, in a seemingly pointed comment, he said, “That’s because we play live.” And, in a sarcastically shocked voice, he added, “What?”

After a quick walk away from the mic — as the crowd reacted — he came back and said, “Just sayin’. We’re a live band! You guys like live rock ‘n’ roll music, right? You came to the right f------ place.”

Grohl's statements, which appear to insinuate that Swift does not perform live, are being widely interpreted as a snub online, especially considering that she does perform live.

The commentary surprised fans of the rocker given that he has previously been photographed with — and said he was "obsessed" with — Swift.

Neither Grohl nor the Foo Fighters immediately responded to PEOPLE’s request for comment.

The “My Hero” singer previously name-checked Swift nearly a decade ago while performing at BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend in 2015 — and even dedicated a song to the singer at the festival.

“Taylor Swift’s hometown, anybody?” he said in a clip of the show. “I'm officially obsessed, she might want to get a restraining order, ‘cause I’m all about T. Swift.”
