Danielle Deadwyler Steals the Show in Custom Louis Vuitton Dress and Satin Pumps at SAG Awards 2025
Danielle Deadwyler turned heads in custom Louis Vuitton pumps while attending the SAG Awards in Los Angeles, Calif. on Sunday night.
Crafted with satin material, the shoes were constructed in sharp pointed-toe design and splashed in a deep red colorway. No additional embellishments were added to the shoe as the focus was kept on her outfit, and the pumps were rounded out by a thin stiletto heel measuring between 3 and 4-inches.

Also stealing the show was her daring custom red structural hand-gathered tulle gown, which offered a unique, layered block-like design. Styling her hair in an updo, her makeup complimented her all-red outfit with a pinkish-red eyeshadow. As for her accessories, “The Piano Lesson” actress showcased silver dangling earrings and a matching bracelet.
Deadwyler wasn’t the only actress who chose pumps for the occasion. Jane Fonda also walked down the black carpet in a pair of gray Manolo Blahnik Okkava heels that featured almond-shaped toes adorned with distinct crystalized detailing.
Another recent occasion that saw the stars wearing pumps was the 56th NAACP Image Awards, which took place in Los Angeles on Feb. 22 at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium. In-attendance was Zoe Salda?a, who was spotted in Maison Margiela for Christian Louboutin pumps, a style she previously wore at the Critics’ Circle Film Awards in London in early February.
The pumps included Margiela’s famous Tabi design, which is defined by a cloven toe, and a red-bottom pump with two slender straps intersecting across the foot and a stiletto heel. The heel was estimated to range between 3-to-4 inches in height.
The 2025 Screen Actors Guild Awards will take place tonight, Feb. 23, at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. Kristen Bell will host the ceremony, which can be streamed live via Netflix with a subscription. Top stars set to attend include Pamela Anderson, Quinta Brunson, Timothée Chalamet, Colman Domingo, Cynthia Erivo, Ralph Fiennes, Harrison Ford, Lily Gladstone, Selena Gomez and Ariana Grande. “Wicked” leads the charge with five nominations, going up against flicks like “Emilia Perez” with three and “A Complete Unknown” with four. During the ceremony, legendary actress Jane Fonda will receive the Lifetime Achievement award.
