The couple attended a celebratory pre-premiere dinner at Hotel Cipriani's Il Porticciolo restaurant in Venice, Italy, on Monday, Sept. 2
Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz had a celebratory kickoff after arriving in Italy for the 81st Venice Film Festival.
Ahead of the premiere of Craig's film Queer, the couple attended a dinner in honor of the Luca Guadagnino-directed historical romantic drama, held at Hotel Cipriani's Il Porticciolo restaurant in Venice on Monday, Sept. 2.
Craig, 56, and Weisz coordinated in light hues for the evening out, with the Knives Out 3: Wake Up Dead Man actor in a gray blazer over white trousers and a white shirt with the top buttons undone. His Oscar-winner wife, 54, coordinated in a chic cream dress with white floral detailing.
Also in attendance were Guadagnino, 53, plus Craig's costars Drew Starkey, Jason Schwartzman, Lesley Manville and Omar Apollo.
They were joined by costume designer Jonathan Anderson, screenwriter Justin Kuritzkes and W Magazine Editor-in-Chief Sara Moonves, among others.

Adapted from the novel of the same name by William S. Burroughs, Queer follows the self-conscious and insecure William Lee (Craig) as he recounts his life in Mexico City, during which he befriends and pursues Eugene Allerton (played by Starkey), a recently discharged Navy serviceman from Florida.
Although written between 1951 and 1953 as a spiritual sequel to Burroughs' semi-autobiographical 1953 work Junkie: Confessions of an Unredeemed Drug Addict, the book was unpublished until 1985, when Burroughs explained that it represented him off heroin.
During a press conference for the period drama at the Venice Film Festival on Tuesday, Sept. 3, Craig said of his sex scenes with Starkey, 30, that they "just wanted to make it as touching and as real and as natural as we possibly could," per Variety.
"Drew is a wonderful, fantastic, beautiful actor to work with and we kind of had a laugh. We tried to make it fun," the former James Bond actor said.
Craig and Weisz's bond, meanwhile, dates back three decades. The couple first met in 1994, as young British actors cast in Les Grandes Horizontales at the National Theatre Studio in London.

And while they met in the '90s, they didn't start dating until they starred as a married couple in the 2011 psychological thriller Dream House. Weisz and Craig tied the knot in a secret wedding ceremony just six months after they'd started dating.
The couple share a daughter, whom they welcomed in 2018 and whose name has never been made public. Weisz also has an 18-year-old son, Henry, with director Darren Aronofsky, while Craig has an adult daughter named Ella, whom he welcomed in 1992 with ex Fiona Loudon.
During a 2023 interview with Willie Geist for Sunday TODAY, Weisz discussed how she and her husband "alternate" taking acting jobs.
"We really love our private life as a life, as a family, and then we go to work separately," the Mummy actress explained. "I can stay home with the family while he works, we can swap out. If we're both doing something at the same time, it's probably less ideal."
Queer premieres Tuesday at the Venice Film Festival, which is running through Sept. 7.
