‘Dance Moms’ Clash With Mini Moms

On Tuesday’s Dance Moms the mothers of the junior elite team of the Abby Lee Dance Company threw major shade at the moms of the mini team. The old guard of Holly Hatcher-Frazier, Melissa Ziegler-Gisoni, and Jill Vertes disliked the amount of time Abby Lee Miller spent working with the younger dancers and took it out on their mothers.

Then things came to a head at the week’s competition. Abby was asked what she thought about the mini moms and she responded, “All the children are nice, very nice. But moms really are trash.”

The dance moms gleefully told the mini moms what Abby said. When confronted about it, Abby nonchalantly replied, “Yeah.” One mini mom stormed out, but not before Melissa Ziegler-Gisoni said, “Since my daughter was four [Abby’s] been insulting me. Guess what, my kids are stars. If you want your kid to be something, you have to stick it out.”

Dance Moms airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on Lifetime.
