Country music fest Two Step Inn to return to San Gabriel Park in Georgetown next April
Two Step Inn will return to Georgetown's San Gabriel Park next year. The dates for the eclectic country fest's second time at the rodeo are April 20-21, 2024. There's no word yet on next year's lineup or when tickets will go on sale, but would-be Two Steppers can sign up for text alerts at twostepinn.com/tickets. (Worth noting: tickets to this year's event went fast.)
How was the inaugural Two Step Inn in Georgetown?
The two-day event produced by Austin City Limits Festival's parent company C3 Presents drew a sold out crowd of roughly 30,000 attendees per day to the Austin exurbs for a high flying hootenanny that included performances from Travis Tritt, Tanya Tucker and Zach Bryan. This year's lineup, which sauntered from classic country faves and radio hit-makers to, well, T-Pain was deliberately wide-ranging.

"You know, it feels like it's a unique time in country music where the lines are pretty blurred in terms of labels,” festival co-founder Bobby Clay told the American-Statesman before this year's event.
Beyond the music, festival organizers outfitted the park with "tasteful Western design flourishes, including a large ranch-style gate and neon saloon doors (that) gave the joint both yee and haw," Eric Webb wrote in his report of the event for the Statesman.
Two Step Inn organizers donate money to Georgetown parks
Two Step Inn and C3 Presents recently presented Friends of Georgetown Parks and Recreation, a nonprofit organization that supports the Georgetown city parks and recreation department, a check for 1.2 million dollars from this year's festival. According to a news release, the money will go toward future park and community improvements. Festival organizers also paid city expenses, maintenance, and park restoration fees for this year's festival.
“We are so grateful to the folks with Two Step Inn for this donation to Friends of the Georgetown Parks and Recreation. This funding will go a long way toward improvements to parks and recreation offerings throughout our whole community,” Georgetown Mayor Josh Schroeder said via the news release.
