Comic-Con: Arrow star John Barrowman cosplayed as Squirrel Girl, Harley Quinn, and more
Arrow star John Barrowman let his fan flag fly at San Diego Comic-Con this weekend. As host of The Eisner Awards, which took place at the Hilton Bayfront's Indigo Ballroom, the actor posed for photos dressed as Squirrel Girl, Zap Brannigan from Futurama, and Harley Quinn.
"Yes Squirrel Girl happened," Barrowman wrote on social media as he channeled the Marvel comic book character in a playful pose.
Elsewhere, he went undercover among the fans outside sporting a Kylo Ren mask, dress, and plastic blue lightsaber. "Fabulously dancing by myself," he tweeted with a video of him skipping and twirling around.
See his many, many looks in the photos and video below.
"If you wanna come and watch me be an idiot and all the fun things that I have planned and have some fun, come and join us," Barrowman said in a video from the Eisner Awards rehearsals. "It's like a free show," he added. "Not a freak show, a free show."
Also on Friday, Barrowman crashed the Nerd HQ panel by walking out in front of fellow Arrow stars Stephen Amell and Emily Bett Rickards in pink pumps. "Do you know how hard it is to walk all the way through the Con in these to here?" he said.
