Comedian Nick Swardson Unveiling New Special ‘Make Joke From Face’ Tonight
EXCLUSIVE: Comedian Nick Swardson has announced that he’ll release his latest hour-long comedy special, Make Joke From Face, on YouTube via 800 Pound Gorilla tonight at 5 p.m. PT. You’ll be able to stream it at that hour at the link above.
Swardson’s new hour sees him return to the stage as his birthday draws near to share his hilarious life advice and memories; a what not to do about diarrhea, riding in helicopters, and run-ins with the cops along with “cherished” moments with his friends and his role as Terry on Reno 911!.

Written and performed by Swardson, the special taped at the San Jose Improv is directed by Edwin Licona and Adolfo Nowak. Edwin and Andrew Licona produced, with Swardson, Victor Elizalde, Matt Blake and Edwin Licona serving as exec producers.
A comedian, actor, writer and producer, who this summer heads out on his “Toilet Head” tour, Swardson is coming off the specials Taste It and Seriously, Who Farted?, both for Central Central.
A frequent collaborator of Adam Sandler’s, he’s joined the SNL alum in titles like Leo, Sandy Wexler, The Do-Over, The Ridiculous 6, Pixels and Grown Ups 2, among many others dating back decades. Swardson has also served as a co-producer or EP of many of those projects, most recently co-producing Sandler’s 2017 Netflix pic Sandy Wexler. Other feature acting credits for him include Buddy Games, It’s a Wonderful Binge, The Wrong Missy, 30 Minutes or Less and Blades of Glory, to name just a few.
The creator and star of the Comedy Central series Pretend Time and Typical Rick, Swardson has also been seen on the hit Comedy Central series Reno 911! and lent his voice to FX’s animated comedy Chozen.
As a stand-up, Swardson recently visited theaters in over 50 cities as a part of his “Make Joke From Face” tour. He appeared in Netflix’s series Comedians of the World, where he was one of four comedians selected to represent the United States, and tours regularly on a bill with Sandler, David Spade and Rob Schneider. Swardson is represented by CAA, Brillstein Entertainment Partners, and Mitch Smelkinson at Goodman, Genow, Schenkman.
