Comedian Anthony Jeselnik is coming to The Weidner; Meyer Theatre announces Aries Spears, AC/DC tribute act
GREEN BAY - Comedian Anthony Jeselnik will stop at The Weidner on April 19 as part of his Bones and All Tour.
Known for his dark and edgy comedy, Jeselnik became a natural fit as a writer and performer for Comedy Central celebrity roasts. He released his latest Netflix special, "Fire in the Maternity Ward," in 2019. He currently co-hosts "The Jeselnik & Rosenthal Vanity Project" with NFL Network analyst and longtime friend Gregg Rosenthal.
Tickets for the 7 p.m. show are $39, $49, $59 and $79. They will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at ticketstaronline.com, 800-895-0071 and the Resch Center box office. There's a six-ticket limit.
Aries Spears, AC/DC tribute act to perform at Meyer
The Meyer Theatre in downtown Green Bay will welcome Aries Spears for a night of stand-up comedy at 7:30 p.m. May 9.
Tickets, priced at $29, $39 and $59, go on sale at 11 a.m. Friday through Ticket Star.
Spears got his start in comedy at age 14 and spent seven seasons as a cast member of Fox's "MADtv." He's well known for impressions that range from LL Cool J and Snoop Dogg to Jay-Z and Denzel Washington. His acting credits include his portrayal of Red Foxx in "Why Do Fools Fall in Love" and the brother of Cuba Gooding Jr.'s character in "Jerry Maguire."
The Meyer also recently announced Thunderstruck: America's AC/DC Tribute will be in concert at 7:30 p.m. May 10.
Area musicians Paul Hanna of Annex, Ron Kalista of Vic Ferrari and Chris Hanaway will perform as Playing with Fire to open the show.
Tickets are on sale for $35, $45 and $55 through Ticket Star.
