Coco Jones Embraces Sculptural Drama in Lever Couture Ribbon Dress for MTV VMAs 2024Red Carpet

Coco Jones made a striking debut on Wednesday in New York City at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards, where the singer and actress was nominated for Performance of the Year for her hit single “ICU.” For her first nomination at the VMAs, Jones selected an ethereal silver gown from Lever Couture, making a bold fashion statement that showcased her elegant yet edgy style. She added to the sparkle with $240,000 in natural diamonds from Jared.

Jones’ gown, composed of delicate silver mesh ribbons, featured an asymmetrical one-shoulder design that cascaded into a dramatic train. The intricate weaving of the metallic ribbons gave the ensemble a futuristic, almost sculptural feel while still maintaining a sense of movement. The light-reflecting fabric shimmered, amplifying the drama and allure of the look.

To complete her ensemble, Jones opted for Stuart Weitzman’s metallic silver open-toe heels, which added a cohesive touch to her high-shine aesthetic. Her accessories also played into the metallic theme, with diamond-encrusted rings and bracelets from Jared glistening on her hands and wrists. The sparkling jewelry complemented the intricate design of her gown, enhancing her radiant presence on the black carpet.

The MTV VMAs recognize the year’s best music videos, artists and songs. Megan Thee Stallion makes her hosting debut during the 2024 ceremony, held at the UBS Stadium in Elmont, New York on Sept. 11. Katy Perry will receive the honorary Video Vanguard Award, while performers include Sabrina Carpenter, Lenny Kravitz, Eminem and Karol G.
