Cincinnati's Favorite Beer 2022 title goes to ...
It finally happened. In the fourth year of the Cincinnati's Favorite Beer championship, we have our first repeat winner. And ... drumroll, please ... it's back-to-back titles for Bohemian Special Brew from Wiedemann Brewing Company!
Congratulations go out to the makers, sellers and fans of this crispy beverage. It is clearly the new beer to fear in March.

After steaming easily through match after match this year, the champ was given its toughest matchup of the tournament yet by the stunner 4-seed Moozie from Brink. Moozie held the lead into night one of voting, but Bohemian rallied on day two and kept it going to take a decisive 671 to 459 victory.
This year's matchup took on a new life on social media, with both our final two contestants pushing hard for their brews throughout the competition to their thirsty fans.
After some playful and cutting trash talk in earlier rounds ("Hofbrauhaus isn't even in Cincinnati"), Brink had some words of peace for their friends at Wiedemann during the final round, "we love our beer neighbors and are so happy to live in a city where great beer is around every corner."
Wiedemann, as you might expect, kept it traditional in their final rally for votes: "Locally owned. Locally brewed. 100 percent Cincinnati! Vote Bohemian."
Clearly, the Wiedemann recipe for victory has been working like a charm. Its path to the final matchup was filled with some incredibly popular local beers that could have easily sent the beer packing and waiting for next season. But it held firm and kept on truckin' round after round, winning every matchup leading up to the finals by more than 200 votes.
The Bohemian made it through 8-seed Man on the Moo (Darkness), 5-seed Doom Pedal (Fifty West), 2-seed PsycHOPathy (MadTree), 2-seed You Betcha! (Sonder) and finally 4-seed Moozie (Brink).
That's impressive. Don't believe me? Go try them all, and then we'll talk. While you're at it, check out the initial list of 300 beers from 60 local breweries that were up for nominations this year ... and our list of the top vote-getters at each brewery. Get out there and try something new, there's plenty to discover.
So, until next year, cheers!
