Christopher Meloni Looks Dapper During Rare Outing With Wife
Christopher Meloni was dressed to impress during a rare outing with his wife, Sherman Williams, this week.
The couple, who celebrated their 29th wedding anniversary earlier this month, have joined the wave of celebrities who traveled to Paris to watch the 2024 Summer Olympics. While the Opening Ceremony doesn’t take place until Friday, July 26, the Law & Order: Organized Crime star was already in town one night earlier to participate in some of the pre-Olympics festivities.
Meloni, 63, and Williams, 64, were photographed together at the Prelude to the Olympics event on Thursday, July 25, at Fondation Louis Vuitton. They posed together for the photographers who were present, holding hands as they smiled for the cameras.
The Law & Order: Special Victims Unit actor wore a gray checkered suit jacket for the outing, which he matched with a light button-down shirt, white pants and black leather shoes. Williams wore a black dress for the event that featured loose long sleeves and a skirt that ended just above the knee. She paired her dress with shiny black ballet flats, a long single-strand silver necklace and shiny dangling earrings.
Video footage shared on Instagram by the Today show also showed Meloni and Williams chatting and smiling together as they walked through a crowd of mingling event attendees. “He’s here! #Paris2024,” the show wrote in its Instagram caption announcing Meloni’s arrival.
Fans applauded the video on social media, with one Instagram user praising Today for “giving us the content we deserve.”
“Stabler in Paris ??,” one fan commented, referring to Meloni’s Law & Order character, Elliot Stabler.
“He’s obviously on a Case,” another fan joked.
“Love me some Zaddy,” one Instagram user gushed about Meloni.
“If being a #zaddy was an Olympic sport, he takes home the ??,” another Instagram user declared.
