Chrissy Teigen finds herself in the middle of McDonald's CEO drama
Chrissy Teigen is known for being outspoken on social media and getting herself involved in a number of dramas, whether they be from entertainment tabloids or even politics. But the most recent scandal is one that Teigen found herself a part of after a publication included a photo of her in the story about ousted McDonald’s CEO Steve Easterbrook, who was fired after engaging in a consensual relationship with an employee.
The model and TV personality took to Instagram and Twitter on Sunday night to share her shock after a Daily Mail article made it seem as though she was involved in the scandal. According to the headline, former CEO Steve Easterbrook was fired after admitting to a “‘consensual’ affair with an employee that ‘violated company policy.’” And by the looks of the lead image, Teigen is seemingly in the middle of it.
Whoa whoa whoa why am I in this headline photo lmao pic.twitter.com/c7yJoUHM1U

“Whoa whoa whoa why am I in this headline photo,” Teigen tweeted, to which thousands of followers reacted and hilariously asked, “What did you do?”
Others replied by congratulating Teigen on her new relationship and even questioning whether the photos are suggesting that Easterbrook was involved with her or Ronald McDonald.
This makes it look like Ronald McDonald is his husband and Chrissy is the mistress.

Others pointed out the obvious by confirming that Teigen isn’t a McDonald’s employee, although she has partnered with the company before. One person questioned if the way that the photo was used by the outlet could be considered defamation.
Yikes. This is borderline defamatory?

On Instagram, Teigen continued to joke around about the incident by writing, “press conference 9am” and asking, “why me.” Teigen’s friend, Jen Atkin, hilariously responded, “She looks the type.”
One person on Twitter decidedly “fixed” the photo by putting Teigen’s photo in as the successor.
