Chris Hemsworth and Wife Elsa Pataky Coordinate in Tom Ford Looks for Met Gala 2024 Red Carpet
Met Gala cochair Chris Hemsworth and his wife of nearly 14 years, Elsa Pataky, coordinated their looks for the 2024 Met Gala on Monday. The couple arrived at the event fashioning ensembles evocative of the evening’s theme: “The Garden of Time.”
Both Hemsworth and his wife wore ensembles by Tom Ford. Hemsworth wore a three-piece, cream-colored suit with a coordinated blazer, vest and trousers. The “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga” star also wore a button-down shirt with the first few buttons and collar buttons undone.

The actor completed the look with a pair of black, patent leather shoes. Pataky’s Tom Ford look featured a high-neck sheer-knit maxidress with long sleeves and a floor-length hem. The longtime model coordinated her glittering gold ensemble with matching jewelry, including a golden headpiece and matching arm cuffs, which she wore on both wrists. The event marks Hemsworth’s first time at the Met Gala.
Hemsworth and Pataky’s respective looks accentuated the evening’s theme well. Both channeled ethereal sartorial statements, color palettes and pieces — styles that evoke a Grecian God-like aesthetic. Posing together, Hemsworth’s cream-colored ensemble lent itself to Pataky’s soft gold dress. While the two aligned their looks for the evening’s theme, neither seemed to sacrifice their own approach to fashion or individual style sensibility.
More recently, Hemsworth has been seen alongside “Furiousa: A Mad Max Saga” costar Anya Taylor-Joy at various promotional events during their international press tour. The film hits theaters May 24, in time for the summer blockbuster season.
The Met Gala raises funds for the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City and celebrates the Costume Institute’s annual exhibits. This year’s theme, “The Garden of Time,” nods to the “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion” exhibit, which will open to the public on Friday. The 2024 event is notably cochaired by Zendaya, Jennifer Lopez, Bad Bunny, Chris Hemsworth and Vogue editor in chief Anna Wintour.
