All Seasons of The Chosen to Exclusively Stream on Prime Video — Season 5 Set for June Premiere
Amazon Prime Video is the chosen one.
As part of an expansive deal between Amazon MGM Studios and The Chosen creator Dallas Jenkins’ 5&2 Studios that was announced on Sunday evening, Prime Video will become the exclusive U.S. streaming home for the first five seasons of the Jesus-centric historical drama, as well as the two upcoming final seasons.

Prime Video also will have exclusive dibs on 5&2 Studios’ new unscripted series The Chosen in the Wild With Bear Grylls, and Amazon MGM Studios gets a first look at upcoming series and film projects from 5&2 Studios.
The Chosen Season 5, which chronicles Holy Week, will debut theatrically on Friday, March 28, and then start streaming Stateside on Prime Video in June. A synopsis for “the most pivotal week in human history” teases: “Tables are turned. Friends are betrayed. And powerful leaders plot the death of Jesus (played by Jonathan Roumie).” Watch a trailer above.
The Chosen Season 5 will be available on Prime Video in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Sub-Saharan Africa, UK and Latin America at a later date this year.

This wide-ranging, multi-territory deal presents a unique opportunity to deepen engagement with The Chosen’s loyal fanbase while drawing in new viewers around the world.”
The Chosen in the Wild With Bear Grylls, a six-episode unscripted series, is described thusly: “From Judas to Jesus, Bear Grylls” — renowned adventurer, and author of the faith-based bestseller Soul Fuel and the upcoming The Greatest Story Ever Told — “takes the cast of The Chosen, as well as director Dallas Jenkins, on their own adventures into the wilderness. Bear Grylls will find out exactly what makes his guests tick, explore their personal journeys, and push them to their ultimate limits.”
