Check out who is performing at Presque Isle's Sunset Music Series this summer
The UPMC Sunset Music Series at Presque Isle State Park will get underway June 19.
The free concert series, which is organized by the Presque Isle Partnership, will take place on six Wednesdays starting at 5:30 p.m. and ending around sunset on the peninsula's Beach 11.

June 26: Kev Rowe, The Probables
July 3: Sass Acoustics, Crush
July 10: Mambo, Abbey Road
July 17: Matt Kramer/The Dock Boy, West Indian Revelation
July 24: Matthew Crays, The Rooftop Project
What else will be there
In addition to two local bands, each concert will feature food trucks selling various items, ice cream available for purchase, hula-hoop playshops, and extended swimming hours.

How to get there
For those without access to a vehicle, the Erie Metropolitan Transit Authority's Route 33 Presque Isle Express will be running free bus service on Wednesdays and Saturdays to and from Presque Isle with stops that include Beach 11, the West Erie Plaza and downtown Erie.
Good to know
Beach 11 is a smoke-free beach and alcohol is prohibited there as well as at the rest of Presque Isle State Park. Pets are welcome at the park and the concerts. However, pets must be leashed and kept near the tree line at the beach.
