Charlie's Angels Stars Jaclyn Smith and Cheryl Ladd Reunite 38 Years After Show Ended
Jaclyn Smith and Cheryl Ladd‘s days of investigating may be over, but their friendship is still going strong!
On Friday, Smith, 73 shared a photo of herself with Ladd, 67 on Instagram.
“With my sweet friend @angelcherylladd. No time has past when we are together,” Smith wrote.
In the shot, the Charlie’s Angels stars can be seen smiling — looking as youthful as ever!
Ladd opted for a beige turtle neck and a black blazer while Smith sported a grey sweater and a camel coat. Over the years, the two women have made sure to catch up from time-to-time.
Their sweet photo comes 38 years after the critically acclaimed TV show came to an end after five seasons.
The show, which followed a wealthy mystery man as he consulted with his three detectives, employed by his private investigation firm, via speakerphone as they fought crime, first aired in 1976 on ABC.
Smith played Kelly Garrett, Kate Jackson played angel Sabrina Duncan and Farrah Fawcett played Jill Munroe.
After the first year, Fawcett left the show and was replaced by Ladd, who played her sister Kris Munroe.
Fawcett would later come back for a few guest appearances in later seasons. Fawcett died on June 25, 2009 of anal cancer.
In 2016, Smith reflected on the series in honor of its 40th birthday.
“It was groundbreaking. It was about three emotionally and financially independent women. We shot at beautiful locations with fancy fast cars, and they cared about each other, so there was a heart to the show,” Smith told PEOPLE.
“People said we were sexually exploited, but it was a nursery rhyme. We were in a bathing suit at the beach, and if there was a hint of a love scene, it was so proper. I think the producers were smart. They wanted to bring in that younger audience and did want families to watch together.”

The series was turned into the 2000 film Charlie’s Angels starring Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore and Lucy Liu.
Now a reboot of the film, directed by Elizabeth Banks is set to premiere this year.
A lot has changed for Smith since life as an angel.
In 2017, Smith opened up about becoming a grandmother.
“The love that you have for your children, it’s like ‘Oh my God. But this is even bigger — there are no words,” Smith previously told PEOPLE.

“I was thrilled to become a grandma,” Smith added.
Smith says she was a very protective parent but has learned to take notes from her daughter Spencer Margaret, 33, on being more laid-back as a first-time grandparent.
“Last night we were playing with Bea and water got all over the sleeve of the pajamas and I go, ‘Oh that’s horrible!’ and Spencer Margaret said, ‘Mom, that’s gonna dry. She’s enjoying herself.’ She’s a free spirit, and that’s good,” says Smith.
Spencer Margaret’s husband, actor Fran Kranz, is currently working in New York, which means lots of grandma time for Bea at home in Los Angeles as well as on family trips around the globe.
