Chanel Iman and Sterling Shepard Welcome Baby No. 2: 'Our Christmas Gift Came Early'
Chanel Iman is a mother of two!
The 29-year-old model and her husband, Sterling Shepard, welcomed their second child together, a baby girl they named Cassie Snow, on Tuesday. Iman took to Instagram following her new bundle of joy's arrival to share the sweetest family photo from the hospital. Iman and Shepard are also parents to 1-year-old daughter Cali Clay.
"Our Christmas gift came early 👶🏽🎀 Cassie Snow Shepard 12?17?19 ??," the glowing mom wrote alongside a photo of her and Shepard in the hospital bed, with baby Cassie and Cali. The post quickly filled with congratulatory comments.
"This is Love ?? @cassiesnowshepard @caliclayshepard," Iman wrote in a second pic of her with her babies. Shepherd also shared the same pic on his Instagram, writing: "Super proud of you Momma you’re a phenomenal woman! Blessed to have you three beautiful ladies."
Iman announced that she was expecting her second child in August. "Excited to announce we will be a family of four soon," the beaming then-expectant mother captioned the heartwarming Instagram snapshot.
Earlier this month, just days before her 29th birthday, Iman's family and friends threw her a dreamy baby shower, where it was also revealed that she was having a baby girl.
The supermodel told ET last year that Shepard had high hopes for a big family. "My husband wants four, but I don't know. We'll see what happens," she said.
