‘Chad Powers’: First Look At Glen Powell In Hulu Comedy Series Based On Eli Manning Sketch
Hulu has released a first look at Glen Powell in character for the comedy series Chad Powers.
In the half-hour show, co-created and executive produced by Powell and Michael Waldron, when bad behavior nukes hotshot QB Russ Holliday’s (Powell) college career, he disguises himself and walks onto a struggling Southern football team as the talented, affable Chad Powers.

The comedy series is based on the sketch produced by NFL Films and Omaha Productions that aired on ESPN+ as part of the Eli’s Places series.
Manning serves as executive producer along with Omaha Productions’ Peyton Manning, Jamie Horowitz, Ben Brown, and ESPN. Waldron, who co-wrote the pilot script with Powell, and Adam Fasullo are producing for Anomaly Pictures. Powell is an executive producer under his production co-banner Brainstorm.
Quentin Plair and Wynn Everett recently joined Chad Powers as series regulars. Plair will play Coach Byrd, and Everett will portray Tricia.
The series’ cast also includes Perry Mattfeld as Ricky, Frankie A. Rodriguez as Danny, and Steve Zahn as Jake Hudson.
Tony Yacenda, creator of American Vandal, directed the pilot episode for Chad Powers. Yacenda also recently directed the Paramount+ series Players and has directed multiple episodes of the FXX comedy series Dave.
