All the Celebrities Who Welcomed Babies in 2024
Last year was an exciting year for a lot of celebrity families. Many of them welcomed little bundles of joy, and there are few things we love more than a birth announcement. (Pregnancy announcements, you’re a close second!)
There were babies born in the hospital with the “help” of dad (we’re winking at you, Jason Kelce!), babies born at home, rainbow babies born, babies born via surrogate, and those who were a total surprise to the world. Paris Hilton shocked the world twice in 2023 when she welcomed son Phoenix at the beginning of the year and daughter London at the end! (Will she and husband Carter Reum welcome Baby No. 3 in 2024? Time will tell.)
There were babies who we really got to “meet” and “know,” like Keke Palmer’s son Leo, Kaley Cuoco’s daughter Tildy, and Shawn Johnson’s son Bear. And then there are those babies who are (understandably) spending their infancy in private like Rihanna and A$AP Rocky’s son Riot Rose and Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker’s son Rocky Thirteen.
Regardless of when, how, and how much we find out, the news of a new celebrity bébé always brings a smile to our faces. And, more importantly, smiles to the faces of the new parents. And so we love when they share a sliver of that joy with the world because, c’mon, we’ll take all the little doses of secondhand happiness we can get!
That’s why we’re keeping tabs on all the stars whose families grow this year. Like we said last year, you can come back to this list whenever you need to brighten your day because cute baby faces and beaming parents should do just the trick. And starting just days into 2024, there are already parents we have to congratulate!

Christopher French and Ashley Tisdale just welcomed baby number two! On Sept 7, they announced via Instagram that they welcomed another child, a daughter, on the day prior. They posted the photo announcing the news with the caption reading, “Emerson Clover French, all three of us are obsessed with you. She landed 9.6.24 ??.”
Tisdale and French have been married since 2014, and also share one daughter names Jupiter Iris, who they welcomed on March 2021.
Lala Kent
Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent gave birth to her second baby on Sept. 3! She announced the news on her Instagram story, per PEOPLE, writing, “Welcome into the world, my love” and the date “9.3.24.”
So far, she has not revealed the baby’s name or gender. Kent is also mom to daughter Ocean, 2, with ex Randall Emmett.
Mae Whitman
Parenthood star Mae Whitman gave birth to her first child, a baby boy!
She made the announcement on Aug. 28 by posting a photo of her son’s tiny baby feet resting on her finger. “Not to be a Bieber about it but I too just gave birth to our son, Miles,” she captioned the post, referring to the fact that Justin Bieber and Hailey Bieber just welcomed their first child (and shared a photo of their baby’s foot!)
“From the moment we heard the first tiny sound out of his tiny piggy mouth we were besotted. He is the kindest, gentlest, smartest, funniest little beebee and he’s our best friend (pretty much exactly like his namesake Uncle Miles @younggoth),” she added, referring to her Parenthood co-star Miles Heizer.
Emma Lovewell
Peloton instructor Emma Lovewell is officially a mom! She announced the birth of her baby girl with fiancé Dave Clark on Instagram on Aug. 28.
“Baby girl Skylar ?? finally arrived, healthy and right on time at 42 weeks and 4 days. ??” she joking captioned the post, featuring a black-and-white photo of her hand, Clark’s hand, and her daughter’s tiny hand gripping her finger.
“We’re so in love with her and can’t believe we created a human!?” she added. “It blows my mind every day. Currently I’m feeling grateful, exhausted, and excited for this new chapter in my life. ??”
Adwoa Aboah & Daniel Wheatley
Adwoa Aboah and her boyfriend, U.S. skater Daniel Wheatley, announced they are parents on Aug. 27. They posted the new on Instagram with the caption reading, “Our stunner of a daughter was born at 11:22pm on the 23rd of August by emergency cesarean. Our hearts have literally exploded into a million pieces.”
She then revealed her daughter’s name: “Shy Trinity Afua Wheatley.”
Lea Michele & Zandy Reich
Lea Michele and Zandy Reich just welcomed their second child together! Michele shared the news on Instagram, saying, “Our hearts are so full ?? Emery Sol Reich ??.”
Michele and Reich also share a son named Ever, who was born on Aug 2020.
Justin Bieber & Hailey Bieber
Justin Bieber and Hailey Bieber are officially parents! On Aug. 23, they announced the arrival of their newborn son, Jack Blues Bieber, to their Instagram, saying, “WELCOME HOME JACK BLUES BIEBER ??.”
This is their first child together.
Vanessa Morgan & James Karnik
Vanessa Morgan and James Karnik have welcomed a daughter together! They shared the news to Instagram with the caption reading, “Kaia Autumn Skye ?? Born July 27th. Been enjoying all the baby snuggles these past 3 weeks with our angel. Beyond Grateful ????.”
For those that don’t know, Morgan previously welcomed a son River named in Jan 2021 with ex-husband Michael Kopech.
Ashanti & Nelly
A rep for the couple told People that “Ashanti and Nelly welcomed their baby boy, Kareem Kenkaide Hayes, on July 18, 2024. The proud and happy parents are so in love with KK!”
Earlier this year, Ashanti and Nelly officially announced in April that they were expecting and got engaged too.
“Motherhood is something that I have looked forward to, and sharing this with my family, fiancé, and loyal fans, who have been so supportive of my career, is an amazing experience,” she said when confirming the news to Essence.
Taylor Swift’s BFF Abigail Anderson & Charles Berard
Taylor Swift’s BFF Abigail Anderson and her husband Charles Berard announced on her Instagram that they have welcomed a son named Bennett. Anderson shared the news with the caption reading, “Baby boy decided to join us a few weeks earlier than expected. Our hearts are exploding with love. Welcome to the world Bennett, it’s entirely yours. ??”
Christian Slater & Brittany Lopez
Christian Slater and Brittany Lopez have welcomed their second child together, a son in July 2024, which People confirmed.
For those who don’t know, Slater has three children. He and his ex-wife Ryan Haddon, whom he was with from 1998 to 2007, welcomed two children named Jaden Christopher, born on 1999, and Eliana Sophia, born on 2001.
He and Lopez welcomed a daughter in Aug 2019, and now, have welcomed a son!
Crown Prince Hussein & Princess Rajwa of Jordan
Crown Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa of Jordan welcomed their first child together on Aug 3: a baby girl named Iman, per People. (This means she’s named after Hussein’s sister, Princess Iman!)
For those who don’t know, the Crown Prince and Princess Rajwa tied the knot in a huge wedding on June 1, 2023; after quite a few years together. This is their first child.
Wiz Khalifa
Rapper Wiz Khalifa and his girlfriend Aimee Aguilar welcomed their first baby — a daughter named Kaydence — a month after announcing they were expecting. Aguilar announced the news on TikTok a week later by showing followers her newly postpartum stomach.
Khalifa also shares tween son Sebastian with ex Amber Rose.
Jared Haibon & Ashley Iaconetti
The Bachelor alums Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon revealed exclusively to People that they welcomed their second baby, Hayden Cruise Haibon, in July.
“Baby is healthy and so is Mama!” the couple said. “Seeing [our 2-year-old son] Dawson meet his little brother for the first time was as precious as we always imagined the moment would be. Dawson is full of love and kept petting Hayden.”
Brittney Griner & Cherelle Griner
Brittney Griner and her wife Cherelle were overjoyed to announce the birth of their first child — a baby boy — on July 8th.
“That’s my man. He is amazing,” Brittney — who says she’ll be called “pops” — relayed in an interview with CBS Sports on July 19. “They said as soon as you see them, everything that you thought mattered just goes out the window. That’s literally what happened.”
The couple announced their pregnancy via a joint Instagram post in April.
Peta Murgatroyd & Maks Chmerkovskiy
Dancing with the Stars alums Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd welcomed their third son, a boy — sharing the news via Instagram on Friday, July 12.
“Birth details later but for now we wanted to let you all know that mom and baby are doing perfect, and delivery took around 47 seconds total!” the excited new parents shared. “Exactly one push!”
The new baby joins older brothers Shai, 7, and Rio, 12 months.
Sarah Herron
About 18 months after the tragic death of her son Oliver, Sarah Herron welcomed fraternal twins about two months before their actual due date. She and her husband Dylan are now the proud parents of Everette “Evy” Rae and Colette “Coco” Rose. How beautiful are those coquette baby girl names?
“We’re all adjusting to life in the NICU as we have a long road ahead of us—undeniably filled with twists and turns—but the girls are fighters and getting stronger every day—we all are,” the Bachelor in Paradise alum wrote on Instagram.
“Welcome to the world little ones!” she continued. “My heart is completely outside of my body for these two miracles.”

Alexander Ludwig and his wife Lauren Dear announced that they welcomed their son on July 5 via Instagram, saying, “Townes Alexander Ludwig – born 6/12/24 at 5:22pm ???? he is everything.”
The pair married in 2020 and also share a daughter named Leni, 14 months.
Vanessa Hudgens & Cole Tucker
On July 3, TMZ broke the news that Vanessa Hudgens and Cole Tucker’s first baby had arrived. The couple was spotted wheeling their bundle of joy to their car when leaving the Santa Monica Hospital — on none other than Tucker’s 28th birthday.
Mindy Kaling
On her 45th birthday on June 24, Mindy Kaling revealed that she welcomed baby number three after keeping her pregnancy and childbirth a secret.
“In late February I gave birth to my daughter, Anne,” Kaling wrote on Instagram. “She’s the best birthday present I could’ve ever imagined. When things are hard, whenever I veer towards cynicism, my three kids are such a great reminder of the pure joy in my life. I’m so lucky I live in a place where I could do this by myself, on my own timeline. Thanks for all the birthday wishes!”
Kaling is also mom to Katherine “Kit,” born in 2017, and Spencer, born in 2020.
Elon Musk & Shivon Zilis
Elon Musk and Neuralink exec Shivon Zilis reportedly welcomed a third child together. According to Bloomberg, they allegedly welcomed another child together earlier this year. They previously welcomed twins together, and this third child together makes 12 children for Elon.
Emily Atack & Alistair Garner
On June 21, actress Emily Atack and Dr. Alistair Garner welcomed their son into the world and shared the news on Instagram, saying, “We have a beautiful son. Barney James Garner. All my dreams have come true.”
Emily Miller & Cam Holmes
Too Hot to Handle couple Emily Miller and Cam Holmes welcomed their first baby in June with a joint Instagram post. “Reggie Ruston Miller-Holmes ???? 20.06.2024,” they wrote over a black and white image of them holding their rainbow baby’s hand.
The announcement of their pregnancy came a year and a half after the couple suffered a pregnancy loss. “After what happened last time, I didn’t even know if I’d even want to get pregnant again in case I had to go through that again,” Miller told PEOPLE after announcing she was pregnant in January. “It sounds cliché, but it really is our little miracle. This is what I’m so excited for, to be able to tell people it is possible.”
Mirai Nagasu
Figure skater Mirai Nagasu had a major hard launch in June, announcing during a sponsored Instagram post that she had welcomed a baby.
“Look how locked in Tai is as he learns all about Boston,” the athlete said in a voiceover of a video about View Boston. “And yes, surprise I had a son!”
Just days before, the Olympian also confirmed that she got engaged to Michael Bramante over a year ago with another Instagram post. Now we wonder what surprise she’ll announce next!
Katelyn Brown & Kane Brown
Country singer Kane Brown and his wife Katelyn are already parents to daughters Kingsley, 4 and Kodi, 2, so it was only right that they gave their newborn son a “K” name.
“Krewe Allen Brown 6.18 ??,” Kane captioned a joint Instagram post.
The country music community was so happy for the “Miles On It” singer: “Congrats buddy????,” Walker Hayes commented. “WOAHHH LETS GOOO THATS SO AWESOME????,” Bailey Zimmerman said.
Steve Kazee & Jenna Dewan
Jenna Dewan welcomed her third child, and second with fiancé Steve Kazee in June and gave her a beautiful mythical name: Rhiannon Lee Kathryn Kazee.
“From the moment you arrived, you have brought immense joy and love into our lives…” Dewan said in her announcement. “Your gentle grace, sweetness, and beauty have captivated our entire family. Our hearts are overflowing with love, and we are truly blessed by your presence.”
The actress also shares Callum, 4 with Kazee and Everly, 11 with ex Channing Tatum.
Tracy T & Kash Doll
Rappers Tracy T and Kash Doll welcomed their second daughter together in June.
“Last week at 11:23 am i gave birth to my baby girl Klarity Doll Richardson whew she’s a baby doll… 8lbs 4oz put me down yall this second pregnancy hit diff ??,” Kash Doll wrote in her birth announcement.
The couple also shares Kashton, 2 and Tracy T also has three children from a previous relationship, per People.
Candace Parker
WNBA star Candace Parker and wife Anna Petrakova announced the birth of a baby boy — Hartt Summitt Petrakov Parker — in June. The couple also shares 2-year-old son Airr Larry and Parker is mom to 14-year-old daughter Lailaa.
“Our Starting lineup is complete,” Parker captioned her Instagram announcement. “Zone defense is ummm interesting, but we are managing. Goose is ummm adjusting ?? but he’s doing better with his role as a vet???????? (Mama is a rockstar and we love her soooo much)”
The announcement includes the cutest mixture of photos and videos — some professionally taken and others candid selfies. “Congratulations ????????????????,” Gabrielle Union wrote.
Aly Michalka
Singer Aly Michalka welcomed a baby boy, Jack Francis, with husband Stephen Ringer in April and confirmed the happy news to People in June.
“It was a very peaceful and calm [home] birth,” the Aly & AJ star said, “which is really what we were hoping for.”
“Every woman’s birth is really their own journey and their own choice,” Michalka said of her home birth. “But I do feel like our medical system intervenes in ways that can be really harmful for women and really traumatic for not only themselves, but for their baby. For me, it felt like a great way to be able to avoid that.”
Molly Baz
Chef Molly Baz welcomed a baby boy with husband Ben Willett in June. “we did it, Gio!” she captioned a photo of her newborn covered in a blanket resting on some kind of pillow with his fist straight in the air. (Um, how did you get that perfect shot?!)
Baz made headlines during her pregnancy after an ad campaign for lactation cookies that featured Baz showing her bare baby bump was banned from Times Square for violating “guidelines on acceptable content.” The More Is More author was quick to point out the double standard that lingerie brand campaigns with nearly-naked women were acceptable, but once a bare bump was involved, it was a problem. After much backlash, the ads were reinstated.

Darren Criss & Mia Swier
Darren Criss is one step closer to forming his own glee club! The Glee alum announced on Thursday that he welcomed baby number two with wife Mia Swier, and he shared the baby’s unique moniker.
“M & D just delivered their follow-up single,” Criss wrote on Instagram. “?? Brother László Criss ??6/3/24 ?? Out now. ??… and yes his first name is Brother ??”

Gabourey Sidibe and her husband Brandon Frankel are now the proud parents of twins! The couple announced the happy news with a photoshoot with The Shade Room in June — two months after little Cooper and Maya were born.
The 41-year-old Oscar nominee said both her kids are “extremely strong and hilarious” and that they “love cuddling with Mom and Dad.”
“Maya loves her name being sung to her and is the queen of comedic timing, and Cooper loves his sleep and has the funniest facial expressions,” Sidibe said.
What she didn’t expect, though, was Oscar and Maya’s relationship. Or lack thereof. “It was a surprise to see how little they’ve acknowledged each other outside the womb when they seemed to interact so much inside,” she said. However, another comment from the Precious star has us thinking they’re more connected than she thinks: “Cooper will sometimes speak for Maya and alert us that she’s about to spit up.”
Sounds like a pretty convenient “twin trick” to us!

HGTV star Drew Scott and his wife Linda Phan welcomed a daughter in June, and she has the most precious name: Piper Rae. (How sweet is that?) Piper joins her big brother Parker (PARKER AND PIPER!), and it’s clear from the announcement photos that the 2-year-old already loves his new role.
“Our family of 3 has become 4! Piper Rae, I love you with all my heart ??,” Scott wrote on Instagram.
Trisha Paytas
Trisha Paytas is now the proud mom of two daughters! The YouTube star announced the exciting news on Instagram.
“??proud to announce the safe and happy arrival of our precious daughter, Elvis Paytas-Hacmon 05.24.24??,” she captioned a carousel of photos of her, her husband Moses Hacmon, and their daughter Malibu Barbie with little Elvis.

Meet the Press moderator Kristen Welker and husband John Hughes welcomed their second baby via surrogate in May 2024. NBC News Chief White House Correspondent Peter Alexander announced the happy news on air while the newly minted mom of two was off.
?”The Meet the Press family officially has a new member,” Alexander said of Welker’s son, John Zachary Welker Hughes.
“Look at the nugget!” he continued, showing a photos of the newborn with his family. “John Zachary’s [3-year-old] big sister Margot, as you can imagine, she is extremely proud, welcoming home her baby brother … Kristen shares her surrogate, who she calls her ‘angel on earth,’ is doing great.”
Stephen & Ayesha Curry
At the end of May 2024, Stephen Curry announced that he and his wife Ayesha had welcomed their fourth child. In an Instagram post with a black and white baby photo, the NBA star wrote, “Our sweet baby boy decided to make an early arrival!! He’s doing great and we are finally settling in at home as a family of 6! So grateful!” Curry also revealed their son’s name: Caius Chai.
Elliot Grainge & Sofia Richie
Sofia Richie and Elliot Grainge welcomed their daughter — Eloise Samantha — in May 2024 and shared a black and white photo of them holding the newborn’s feet. “best day of my life??,” Richie captioned the Instagram post.
“Omg the sweetest name!!” Ashley Tisdale commented, and it’s definitely giving us “quiet luxury” baby name vibes.
“Imagine Lionel Richie being your grandpa!!! I’m crying! ?? ?????? CONGRATULATIONS ??????,” a follower said.
Montana Jordan & Jenna Weeks
Young Sheldon’s Montana Jordan welcomed a baby girl — Emma Rae — with girlfriend Jordan Weeks in May 2024. “Momma and Daddy love you. Forever and always,” he wrote in his Instagram announcement.
Princess Alexandra of Luxembourg & Nicholas Bagory
Historians, take note! Another royal baby has been born. Princess Alexandra and her husband Nicholas Bagory welcomed a daughter in May 2024.
“The Grand Duke and Grand Duchess have the great joy to announce the birth of their granddaughter Victoire, first child of their daughter Alexandra and their son-in-law Nicolas, born this Tuesday, May 14 in Paris,” the Grand Ducal Court said in a statement. “The mother and child are doing well.”
Victoire is ninth in the line of succession to the throne of Luxembourg.
Hilary Duff
Hilary Duff announced the birth of her fourth baby, and third with husband Matthew Koma, in May. She shared several photos of her water birth, revealing the baby girl’s spring-inspired gender-neutral name.
“Townes Meadow Bair ?? , now we know why she made us wait so long…She was perfecting those Cheeks!” Duff captioned a post on Instagram, referring to her squishy baby’s adorable cheeks. “I Have been dreaming of holding you in my arms for months and the past 5 days of getting to know you, stare at you and smell you has been pure moments of magic.”
We all love you like you’ve been here all along beauty,” she added.
Kyle Dean Massey & Taylor Frey
Family of four alert! Actors Kyle Dean Massey and Taylor Frey shared the exciting news in May that they had welcomed a second daughter via surrogate.
“God, our surrogate, our donor and modern medicine has blessed us so and completed our hearts,” Frey captioned an Instagram reel with footage from the hospital. “We are in heaven with the arrival of the princess, Gigi. It all went so incredibly smooth and surrogate and baby are in perfect health.”
“I do truly love this life,” the A Christmas to Treasure star continued. “[My other daughter] Her Majesty Rafa has also approved with great joy of her arrival.”
Clare Crawley & Ryan Dawkins
The Bachelorette alum Clare Crawley and her husband Ryan Dawkins welcomed a baby girl via surrogate in Jan. 2024. This is the couple’s first child together and Dawkins’ third daughter.
“She’s here!” Crawley wrote on a photo from her Instagram story of her and Dawkins hugging in the hospital. “Healthy + Beyond Loved. Dream come true.”
Back in July 2023, Crawley announced cheekily that the family’s laundry was “about to get a whole lot cuter.”
“This TRULY is what my dreams are made of!” she said. “I can’t tell you how hard it has been to hold this secret in! This is one journey that Ryan and I have been keeping close to our hearts as we navigated the uncertain world of IVF and all that comes with it up until this point.“
Skyler Samuels
Skyler Samuels and her husband have welcomed their first child! The private star shared the news with a photo from her new campaign with jewelry brand Charles & Colvard. She announced the news to her Instagram with the caption reading, “To all my fellow mamas out there, Mother’s Day is 3 weeks away. Let’s celebrate the hardest and most rewarding job there is by giving a little sparkle to the mamas in our life…they deserve it ?????”
Kenneth Ferguson & Allyson Felix
Olympic runner Allyson Felix welcomed a second child with her husband Kenneth Ferguson, per People.
“We are overjoyed to welcome our son Kenneth Maurice Ferguson III, who we will lovingly call Trey,” the couple said in a statement. “…As a Black woman who already had been through a traumatic life-threatening delivery with my daughter, I desperately wanted a joyful birth experience I could celebrate. I’m so grateful I had a doctor who saw me, heard me, and made me feel safe.”
Felix and Ferguson are already the proud parents of a 5-year-old daughter, Camryn.
“I had a doula who supported, guided and believed in me,” Felix continued. “I was able to have the unmedicated VBAC I deeply desired. The entire experience was powerful, challenging, healing and so beautiful. My birth experience inspires me to continue to advocate for Black maternal health and the outcomes we can achieve when we listen [to] and support women.”
Tom Payne & Jennifer Akerman
The Walking Dead‘s Tom Payne told People in a statement that on April 1, he and his wife Jennifer ?kerman welcomed twins.
“An entirely unexpected and wonderful surprise,” he said. “[Our 2-year-old son is over the moon to have not one but two new siblings.”
“Jennifer and I have joked that he had something to do with this because there’s nothing he likes more than a house full of people,” he continued.
Adam Doleac
Country singer Adam Doleac and his wife MacKinnon welcomed their son Jack in March. “We already love you more than we even knew we could,” Adam said on Instagram, adding that his wife is “already being the best momma.”
Josh Bowman & Emily VanCamp
Josh Bowman and Emily VanCamp welcomed their second daughter in March, Rio Rose. “Rio Rose 3-12-2024,” VanCamp captioned a cropped black and white photo of the newborn. “Welcome to the world baby girl. We love you so much.”
They also share a 2-year-old daughter, Iris.
Robert Pattinson & Suki Waterhouse
Twilight star Robert Pattinson and singer Suki Waterhouse quietly welcomed a baby in February or March. The couple was photographed pushing a stroller in Los Angeles, and fans think the pink stroller could mean they have a daughter. Because, ya know, gender norms.
Kendall Schmidt & Mica Von Turkovich
Kendall Schmidt and Mica Von Turkovich are officially parents! Four months after tying the knot, the two have welcomed a daughter named Maple. They shared the news on Instagram with the caption reading, “??Maple??.”
Benji Madden & Cameron Diaz
On March 22, Benji Madden and Cameron Diaz revealed the news that they welcomed a son, named Cardinal into their now family of four.

The happy news comes less than a year after their 2-year-old daughter Arrayah tragically drowned. Jordanna announced in June 2023 that she learned a few weeks after Arrayah’s passing that she was pregnant.

American Woman actress Sienna Miller welcomed a baby girl with boyfriend Oli Green, per The Daily Mail. Their report, which included photos of the couple walking with a newborn in a baby carrier, is from Jan. 3. It’s not immediately clear if the little one was born in early 2024 or late 2023.
Miller also shares a 10-year-old daughter, Marlowe, with ex Tom Sturridge.
