Cedric The Entertainer Says Katt Williams’ “Tough Talk” Is “Corny” Following Joke Theft Allegations

Cedric The Entertainer has responded to Katt Williams’ latest allegations of stealing a joke from him in 1998, and telling it during his 2000 The Original Kings Of Comedy special. He also addressed Williams’ claim that his career is questionable and that he simply isn’t funny.

“Revisionist History, regardless of whatever Katts opinion My career can’t be reduced to One Joke Katt Williams claims as his,” the actor posted within the Club Shay Shay Instagram comment section, where Katt’s accusatory clip was first shared. “I been over 40 movies, my specials and brand speaks volumes for I am. The ppl I have put on including “Katt in the Hat”. At the Gibson Amphitheater.”

In a second comment, Cedric appeared to address Williams claiming he’d punch him in the gut, or as Katt put it, “I would’ve bust Cedric’s stomach.”

“And all that tough talk! Is corny af I’m grown ass man. And none of that sh*t gonna go like you think. You do you and I got this over here.”

Williams took offense to Cedric denying his claims of joke theft on Club Shay Shay last year when, according to Katt, Cedric apologized for doing so only to lie on the Shannon Sharpe podcast.

“Why would you downplay me like that? Why would I give you a pass If you were just gon’ lie?”

The Pimp Chronicles stand-up also took shots at Cedric’s physique, saying he “looked like a walrus” before attacking his career.

“He did four comedy specials. They’re so bad, Shannon, they’re not on Netflix or TUBI,” adding that, “Eventually, the Lord is gon’ let us be in one hallway.” Many took that final statement as a threat.
