CBS Developing Workplace Comedy With Haas Racing Team Principal Guenther Steiner
EXCLUSIVE: This could rev up the engines of those Formula One fans: CBS is in the early stages of developing a single-camera workplace comedy with Haas Racing team principal Guenther Steiner.
The project, which does not yet have a writer attached, will be set in the world of sports with a “Steineresque” boss at the head of the ensemble.

Steiner will serve as a non-writing executive producer on the project. No studio is attached.
Steiner has become a fan favorite known for his outsized personality, thanks to his appearances on the Netflix docuseries Formula 1: Drive to Survive. Launched in 2019, the series is a collaboration between Netflix and Formula One and offers fans a behind-the-scenes look at the drivers and races of the Formula One World Championship.
Drive to Survive just completed its fifth season. The docuseries was renewed for a sixth year.
