Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Love Hewitt and Tiffani Thiessen at the 1998 premiere of 'Can't Hardly Wait'There is such a thing as fate ... and in 1998, it brought together dozens of the biggest '90s-era stars for the premiere of the teen comedy, Can't Hardly Wait.
The film followed a group of high school seniors celebrating their graduation at an epic end-of-the-year blowout, and starred icons of the time like Jennifer Love Hewitt and Ethan Embry.
"We wanted to make an energetic, funny movie," co-director Harry Elfont told Teen PEOPLE during a set visit in 1998. "Every high school movie has a party scene, but there's never been ..."
"... a movie that takes place entirely at a party," added his directing partner, Deborah Kaplan.
The film's Hollywood premiere was also a party, and brought out some of the biggest names of the '90s in addition to the starry cast. Here, take a trip down memory lane at the premiere of 1998's Can't Hardly Wait.
