Camilla breaks silence on Meghan Markle's family drama ahead of royal wedding
We now know how some of the British royal family reacted to Meghan Markle's family drama that unfolded ahead of last weekend's royal wedding.
While speaking with reporters at 5 News on Wednesday, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, seemingly spoke out about the endless headlines, confusion and drama around whether or not Meghan's father, Thomas Markle, would attend the royal wedding to walk her down the aisle.

"It was such a lovely day," Camilla said. "Just everything went right. We all wondered whatever would happen next and then everything went right."
Duchess Camilla also called the entire wedding "uplifting," but it was her allusion to the constant drama around Thomas that is now making headlines.
Facing embarrassment after it was revealed that he had staged paparazzi photos of himself preparing for the royal wedding, Thomas Markle announced that he would not longer attend -- and that he had suffered a heart attack the week before. After walking back his declaration, Thomas revealed that he wanted to attend the wedding to give his daughter away at her wedding, but that doctors were preventing him from going after scheduling a heart surgery three days before the nuptials.
"My baby looks beautiful and she looks very happy," Thomas said on the day of the wedding. "I wish I were there and I wish them all my love and all happiness."
Prince Charles walked Meghan down the aisle while her mother, Doria Ragland, happily looked on from inside St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle.
