CAA Signs Cannes-Winning ‘Mommy’ Director Xavier Dolan

: CAA has signed Xavier Dolan, an up-and-coming director whose film Mommy was just chosen as Canada’s official selection for Best Foreign Language Film for the 2015 Academy Awards. The 25-year-old helmer’s film won the Jury Prize at Cannes. Dolan has written and directed five feature films and acted in more than a dozen. Right now he is casting around Jessica Chastain for his next film, The Death & Life Of John F. Donovan. Dolan, who leaves WME, remains with LBI’s Thor Bradwell as his manager and Harris Hartman as his attorney.
