Bughead forever! 'Riverdale' stars Cole Sprouse and Lili Reinhart make it official at Met Gala
Cole Sprouse and Lili Reinhart left Riverdale behind for the night.
On Monday, the Riverdale co-stars walked the red carpet together at the “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination” Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum. Although it’s been one of Hollywood’s worst-kept secrets that these two onscreen lovebirds are a thing offscreen, there’s nothing like the Met Gala for a couple’s debut.
Sprouse, 25, and Reinhart, 21, have been romantically linked for about a year. They frequently share photos of each other on social media and have been caught by the paparazzi smooching in Paris.
Yet neither star has come out with the BF-GF confirmation.

“Every time someone asks me about it, I make a decision then and there about whether I’m comfortable,” Reinhart explains to Seventeen. “It’s not like I’m in some kind of contract, but I’m not in the place where I want to talk about it, and that’s totally fine. It’s called a ‘private life’ for a reason — it’s mine, and it’s special and sacred.”
She added, “My relationships are between me and whomever I’m with, not between me and the world.”
Sprouse has also played coy in the press. He was featured in People’s Sexiest Man Alive issue and issued a “no comment” when asked in November.
“Because whether you dismiss those rumors or whether you encourage those rumors, it’s giving people who are in my opinion are a bit entitled to your personal life more power, and you have to have spaces for reverence in the industry,” he said.
Apparently, the jig is up.
