Bristol Palin blasts MTV for 'inaccuracies and false narratives' on 'Teen Mom: OG'
Bristol Palin isn’t happy with how she’s being portrayed on Teen Mom: OG. The daughter of Sarah Palin, the Republican vice presidential candidate in the 2008 election, joined the MTV show for its current season, replacing Farrah Abraham. Bristol Palin went off on the network on Instagram after Monday’s episode.
Palin, 28, claims MTV “doesn’t want to talk about faith, show work ethic or juggling three kids alone, they don’t want to show the humble process of starting over after a divorce, building a career or any real-life issues.”
“All they want with my little segment each week is some fake fill-in Farrah Abraham/Jerry Springer BS, and it’s simply not true,” Palin continued. Many of her storylines have focused on drama surrounding her relationship with her ex-husband, Dakota Meyer, with whom she shares two daughters, Sailor, 2, and Atlee, 1. (Palin is also the mother of a 9-year-old son, Tripp, with Levi Johnston.)
Palin admits she has said “some mean things” about Meyer, “but the life I’ve built for my kids is NOT sitting around talking about baby daddy drama.”
“Every week is a continued disappointment with their inaccuracies and false narratives,” Palin writes, concluding, “Don’t believe everything you see on TV.”

Yahoo Entertainment reached out to MTV for comment but did not immediately receive a response.
On Monday’s episode, Palin reached out to Meyer to work on their relationship. “I know there’s been a lot of hurt and a lot of pettiness on both of our behalfs,” she said. “I want to get off on a different foot so we can work together for our girls.”
“Pick up the phone, text me when there’s not cameras around,” Meyer replied. “Show me that you’re gonna have genuine intentions, and it ain’t just for the show to start some drama.”
Palin explained she wanted to do it on camera so the couple could have “a level of accountability.”
After hanging up, Meyer vented to a producer, saying, “Bristol’s like a kid.”
“She’s more worried about the court of public opinion than getting in there and ‘Let’s be parents to the kids,'” he added. “That’s what the show has done to her. She’s more focused on the show and her image than she is about the best interest of the kids. The kids are fine, this is the pettiness that I have to look forward to forever.”
Teen Mom OG airs Mondays (9 p.m. EST) on MTV.
