‘Bridgerton’ Season 4 Photos & Footage Give First Look At Masquerade Ball, Lady In Silver & More, Credits Confirm Who Will Be Back
It’s a longstanding Bridgerton tradition for the show to release content from the romance drama on Valentine’s Day. This time, Netflix is providing first-look images and footage from the upcoming fourth season, which is not slated to premiere until next year.
The eight-episode Season 4, about Benedict Bridgerton’s (Luke Thompson) search for love, is still in production in London but it already has filmed the pivotal masquerade ball scene, with several photos provided of Benedict and the Lady in Silver, Sophie Baek (Yerin Ha), who will capture his heart.

There is also video of that — as Sophie calls it — “spectacular night,” with her and Benedict seen dancing in the dark. You can watch the full video with a lot more Season 4 footage a little further down.
The released images also provide glimpses at Penelope (Nicola Coughlan) and Luke Newton (Colin Bridgerton) as new parents and indicate that Violet Bridgerton’s (Ruth Gemmell) budding romance with Lady Danbury’s brother Lord Marcus Anderson (Daniel Francis) is still going strong.
They also show several other new Season 4 characters, including Lady Araminta Gun (Katie Leung) and her two daughters whom she is trying to marry off. But there is no trace of now-married Francesca (Hannah Dodd), whose love story started in Season 3.
You can see the bulk of the photos below.
The Season 4 official credits also confirm that Jonathan Bailey (Anthony Bridgerton) and Luke Newton (Colin Bridgerton) remain series regulars after headlining their seasons, along with, of course, Colin’s new bride, Penelope, whose alter ego Lady Whistledown remains key to the proceedings on the show. Also back will be Simone Ashley, listed as “additional key cast,” reprising her role as Anthony’s wife, Kate Sharma. But no sign of Daphne or Simon, who have been MIA since Seasons 2 and 1, respectively.
Additionally, listed as a series regular is Julie Andrews as Lady Whistledown, despite the fact that Penelope revealed herself to society as the secret gossip columnist in Season 3, with Coughlan taking over the narration from Andrews at the end of the finale. This is an indication that the Oscar winner would likely continue to narrate the series.
Per Season 4’s official logline, in it the series turns its focus to bohemian second son Benedict (Thompson). Despite his elder and younger brothers both being happily married, Benedict is loath to settle down — until he meets a captivating Lady in Silver at his mother’s masquerade ball.
