Boyz II Men 'Drop the Mic' on country superstars Rascal Flatts
There was lots of shade being thrown when Boyz II Men and Rascal Flatts collided on Drop the Mic. The country super band had its hands full with the famous R&B group.
Rascal Flatts has a pretty impressive résumé, considering they’ve sold more than 23 million albums, produced 16 No. 1 songs, and earned 4 Grammy nominations.
All that singing helped them slam Boyz II Men with lyrics like, “I remember the ’90s, when all your stars burned the brightest / Now you can’t get on bended knee because of arthritis.”
But Boyz II Men know a thing or two about being a megaband too. In fact, they have sold more than 60 million albums, earned 15 Grammy nominations, and won four times.
The slammed Rascal Flatts with lyrics like, “All your tracks are covers, it’s terribly hokey / Had 16 No. 1s, and it’s basically karaoke”
In the end Boyz II Men were crowned the champions.
Drop the Mic airs Tuesdays at 10:30 p.m. on TBS.
