The Bold and the Beautiful’s Aaron D. Spears Celebrates His Birthday
It has been a while since Justin Barber served as the right-hand man of the devilish Dollar Bill Spencer on The Bold and the Beautiful. Justin’s portrayer, Aaron D. Spears, has some celebrating to do.
Happy Birthday, Aaron D. Spears!
And that’s because he was born on July 10, 1971, in Washington, D.C., which means that this talented performer is turning 53 years old today! After studying computer science and mathematics at Delaware State University — and giving a career in the NFL serious consideration — Spears packed his bags and headed for Los Angeles.
Upon arrival, he immediately landed his first paying gig: Officer Washington, a recurring character on Sunset Beach. Spears subsequently appeared in episodes of Pacific Blue, Arrest and Trial, The District, The X-Files, and films like Cappuccino and Makin’ Baby.
Spears made his B&B debut on September 14, 2009, and he has continued in the role of Justin Barber ever since. Between 2016 and 2017, Spears pulled double duty by continuing to play Justin — on a recurring basis — while also appearing on Days of our Lives as Lieutenant (and later, Police Commissioner) Raines.
Among Spears’s other acting credits are guest appearances in Coupling, Angel, The Division, General Hospital, and Criminal Minds, a starring role in the BET original series Being Mary Jane, and roles in films such as Babel, The Mansfield 12, Extra Ordinary Barry, and Cartel War.
Spears and his wife Estela Lopez have five children together, four of whom are girls. He is an avid sportsman and the founder of Henna, a production company specializing in spoken-word poetry and thought-provoking films.
