Bloody zombie princess costume sold by Kate Middleton's family sparks outrage
There seems to always be some sort of royal scandal going on across the pond, although the tabloid stories have calmed down quite a bit since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding.
Well, a new storm has hit the royals in the form of a Halloween controversy.
Kate Middleton’s family owns a lucrative event planning business called Party Pieces. As we head into the season of ghouls and goblins, Party Pieces’ website stocked up on hundreds of costumes for adults and children, including several zombie-inspired outfits.
However, people thought the addition of a zombie princess costume — complete with a blood-covered gown and a tiara — was highly insensitive, considering that Princess Diana died in a horrific car crash in 1997.
Simone Simmons, a friend of Diana, told the Daily Star the costume was “sicker than sick. I hope people boycott the site. This is really scraping the barrel. It’s twisted and warped.”
While some agreed that the Middletons’ zombie princess costume was inconsiderate to the royal family, others think the controversy has been blown out of proportion.
The Middletons have not commented on the costume; however, the Party Pieces website has removed the child’s zombie princess outfit.
I see no controversy here, it is just a zombie princess costume and it never occurred to me to think of Princess Diana. It has nothing to do with her. What a stretch & so ridiculous. Slow news day mate?

Give it a rest. It doesn’t resemble Diana in any way. She looks like a zombie in the picture

Really?! I mean, come on, this is grasping at straws. A zombie princess has been a popular kids costume for years. The media will find any reason to attack the Middleton’s.
