Scott Disick's Dad Dies — Just Two Months After His Mom's Passing
Scott Disick has been on the receiving end of a rough one-two punch.
The "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star — who has two children with the reality TV family's eldest daughter, Kourtney — is mourning the loss of his father. Jeff Disick, a real estate developer, died Friday in Los Angeles, according to E! News.
The loss is especially devastating because just two months ago, Scott, who was raised in Long Island, New York, buried his mother, Bonnie. She died at the age of 63 after a long-term illness.
While no cause of death has been announced for Jeff, Scott talked about his father's health struggles on "KUWTK," revealing that he suffered from diabetes and heart problems.
"The whole family is so devastated and Scott is beside himself," a source told E! News of his father's passing. "Scott is an only child with no remaining family."
Scott's parents were featured on "Kourtney & Kim Take New York" in 2011. Kourtney, who has been with Scott since 2006, brought their 3-year-old son, Mason, to visit his grandparents on Long Island.
Scott, who is known for being a bit, um, mischievous, and is often referred to as Lord Disick (a title he received during one episode of the show), has remained silent about his latest personal loss - as he did about his mom's passing. The 30-year–old has not posted on Twitter since New Year's Eve, but has been active on Instagram, uploading multiple photos including some of the family's new cat, his car, and a throwback photo of him with Kourtney.
He rang in the new year with Kourtney, their kids, and her family in Park City, Utah.
