Blac Chyna Parties with Mystery Man at Trinidad Carnival While Rob Kardashian Plays Doting Uncle in Los Angeles

Blac Chyna is living it up in Trinidad.

The model and business owner, 27, who is dating Rob Kardashian, was spotted partying with a mystery man Tuesday while celebrating the Caribbean island’s yearly carnival.

Blac Chyna, decked out in one of the classic – and super-sexy – colorful carnival outfits (and wearing what looked like an engagement ring!), was all smiles as she sipped on drinks and surveyed the crowd from her perch on stage.

She and her male companion seemed to be enjoying the famous festival, talking closely and snapping a few pictures.

Meanwhile, Kardashian, 28, has stayed back home in Los Angeles to continue working on himself.

On Tuesday, he took to Instagram to dote on his adorable niece, North West, 2??, posting pictures of her with several heart emojis as the caption.

Since Kardashian and Blac Chyna recently went public with their romance, the reclusive reality star has been working hard to improve his health, working out regularly and watching his diet after spending two years out of the spotlight battling depression and extreme weight gain.

A source recently told PEOPLE that Kardashian “has fallen hard for Blac Chyna.”

“She makes him super happy, and this is the first time that he’s felt so optimistic about life in years,” the source said. “She helps keep Rob in check with his health and makes sure he is abiding by his diet and exercising. He feels there’s strong potential for this relationship to go a long way but for now they are very content and complement each other really well.”

Another source agreed, telling PEOPLE Kardashian “is doing great” and “seems very happy.”

“He is still embarrassed about being heavy, but Chyna keeps encouraging him to still keep an active life,” the source said. “Rob has been out and about a ton. He sounds excited about life now.”

According to the source, the family drama – which stemmed from Blac Chyna’s tense and complicated history with the Kardashian-Jenners – “has also calmed down.”

“There is less and less drama, which means more energy for Rob to continue working on himself,” the source explained. “For the first time in forever, Rob seems very excited about the future.”
