Billy Bob Thornton returns to theaters this November as everyone’s favorite child-hating, profanity-spewing Kris Kringle in Bad Santa 2, the follow-up to 2003’s black-comedy classic of Christmastime crudity. And while the film’s first red-band trailer suggested that he’ll be in tip-top form — by which we mean, filthy, mean, and all-around disgusting — the sequel’s latest promo (watch it above, with the understanding that it is legitimately NOT SAFE FOR WORK) makes clear that he won’t be the only one indulging in some holiday nastiness.

The trailer reveals a few more details about the plot of Bad Santa 2, which will focus on Thornton’s thief Willie T. Stokes teaming up with paroled former partner Marcus (Tony Cox) and his equally inappropriate mother Sunny (Kathy Bates) to rob a charity run by Diane (Christina Hendricks). Predictably, Willie and his mother are two peas in a putrid pod, though the pair share not only a fondness for robbing the less fortunate in order to line their own pockets, but also a gift for delivering brutal slurs to Willie’s weirdo kid sidekick Thurman Merman (Brett Kelly), who despite being 21 is still as dim-witted as before.

Featuring raunchy sex, Santa-on-Santa violence, and copious drinking, Bad Santa 2’s trailer suggests this follow-up will be right in the wheelhouse of fans of its corrosive predecessor. The film rings in the holiday season when it debuts in theaters on Nov. 23.
