Bijou Phillips Hangs with Famous Friends in France amid Estranged Husband Danny Masterson’s Jail Sentence
The actress described the getaway as "the best girls trip ever" as she shared photo highlights on Instagram
Bijou Phillips is enjoying a girls' trip as her estranged husband Danny Masterson remains in prison after being convicted of rape.
On Saturday, May 25, the Almost Famous actress, 44, and her friend Nicky Hilton both posted highlights from a trip they took to the South of France with a group of friends including Paris Jackson.
"Girls trip ???♀? South of France edition ??????????," Hilton, 40, captioned her carousel of photos on Instagram.
Phillips smiled in a pink-and-white dress with a group of friends in the first photo in the set, and posed in eveningwear with Hilton and Jackson, 26, in another shot. She also laughed in a casual selfie with Hilton while wearing what appears to be a white dress with floral details.

In her own set of photos from the trip, which she shared on Instagram, Phillips included a shot of herself casually posing with Hilton in front of a red phone booth and a mirror selfie showing her wearing a chartreuse dress, among other photos.
"Best girls trip ever! ???♀? Had sooooo much fun! It was a dream. Love you soooo much! @nickyhilton ???????♀?????????????????," Phillips captioned the photos.
"Love youuuu ??," Hilton wrote in the comments.
Phillips was in France for the Cannes Film Festival, during which she attended the Kilian Paris "Sunkissed Goddess" Party with Hilton at the Salama Restaurant on Wednesday, May 22, among other events.
Her trip comes about three months after her estranged husband Masterson, 48, was denied bail on appeal of his 2023 rape conviction and sentence of 30 years to life in prison.

Phillips filed for divorce from Masterson after his sentencing.
Upon denying Masterson's bail on appeal request, a judge cited his divorce as a factor, because he might "flee" given that he doesn't have a family at home.
"If defendant’s conviction and sentence are upheld on appeal, he will likely remain in custody for decades and perhaps the rest of his life,” Judge Charlaine Olmedo wrote at the time, per Deadline.
"In light of the fact that defendant has no wife to go home to, defendant now has every incentive to flee and little reason to return to state prison to serve out the remainder of his lengthy sentence should his appeal be unsuccessful," Olmedo continued.
