Beyoncé’s Western-Inspired Looks From The ‘COWBOY CARTER’ Era, RANKED
Beyoncé is embracing her Southern roots on latest album, COWBOY CARTER. This not only applies to the genre-bending sonics of the release, but Bey’s own style while within her “Country” era.
With the help of stylist Shiona Turini and a full team of fashion professionals, Bey has curated a plethora of looks inspired by traditional western garb. We’re talking “denim on denim on denim on denim,” bolo ties and Stetson toppers that would leave any native Texan nodding in approval.
The songstress dropped the first hint of a new era via her 2024 Grammys ‘fit, a Louis Vuitton Menswear look designed by buddy Pharrell Williams. Pulled from his Fall 2024 collection, it drew heavily from Western motifs, making it the perfect line to introduce the world to Bey’s latest “renaissance,” if you will.
Soon to follow were a number of looks formulated to elevate the intrinsic richness of southern/country culture, resulting in modern takes on the aesthetic Mrs. Carter no doubt observed as a kid in her well-worn Levi’s.
Only this time, it’s the likes of D&G, Givenchy and LV who have been left responsible for every stitch, not to mention plenty of latex and chain work from brands like Atsuko Kudo Couture and celeb fave, Laurel Dewitt.
