BET Awards 2024: Ice Spice, Lauryn Hill, Tyla and More Performers Join Star-Studded Lineup
Hill and her son, YG Marley, will perform on June 30, along with other names like GloRilla, Latto, Muni Long, Victoria Monét and more

Ice Spice; Lauryn Hill; TylaCulture’s biggest night just got even bigger with a new round of performers hitting the stage in Los Angeles this month.
The 2024 BET Awards will feature epic performances from Tyla and Ice Spice, the network announced on Thursday, June 13. The rap artists and “Water” singer each have multiple nominations this year. Ms. Lauryn Hill and her son, YG Marley, also join the main lineup, while rising country star Tanner Adell is slated to hit the BET Amplified stage.
This year’s ceremony, which airs live on Sunday, June 30, is hosted by Taraji P. Henson, who returns following her back-to-back emcee gigs in 2021 and 2022. The Oscar-nominated actress and six-time BET Award winner, 53, previously said she’s “thrilled” to host the show “for the third time” and “looking forward to celebrating my peers and the impact of our culture on entertainment.”

Meanwhile, R&B legend Usher — who’s nominated for four BET Awards this year — will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award in honor of his "ever-growing musical legacy.” The esteemed award has previously gone to music icons like Whitney Houston, Prince, Mary J. Blige and Lionel Richie.
According to BET, a roster of yet-to-be-announced guests will salute the Confessions singer, 45, with a special tribute performance.

SZA, Chris Brown, 21 Savage and Gunna are also up for several awards, including the coveted album of the year.
This year, fans can expect another all-star lineup as well, as the BET Experience (aka BETX 2024) returns to L.A. following a five-year hiatus due to the pandemic. Cardi B, Davido, Gunna, Sexyy Red and Jordan Ward will all headline at the Crypto.com Arena on Friday, June 28, while Queen Latifah, Common, The Roots, Jungle Brothers and more will perform in concert the following day.
The 2024 BET Awards air live on Sunday, June 30, at 8 p.m. ET/ PT.
