Berks Summer Fest consolidated into one-day event taking place Friday

Sep. 21—Due to the inclement weather expected for Saturday, the inaugural Berks Summer Fest at FirstEnergy Stadium has been consolidated into a one-day event that will take place on Friday from 5 to 11 p.m. Here is the new music lineup:

5 p.m.: Gates open and Sound Judgement performs in Tompkins Plaza

6 p.m. Richie Cannata & The Billy Joel All-Star Band on the infield Supportive Concepts Main Stage

7:15 p.m.: Scotti Mann in Tompkins Plaza

8 p.m.: The Royal Scam & TRS Horns on the infield Supportive Concepts Main Stage

9:15 p.m.: Timmy Brown in Tompkins Plaza

The scheduled Cornhole Tournament has been cancelled. Participants should look for an email with details and information regarding opportunities to participate in a future Berks Summer Fest Cornhole Tournament.

Berks Summer Fest is the result of a reimagining of the Bandshell Concert Series in City Park, which began as a Berks Arts event in 1991 and ran each summer until 2022.

"We continue to be grateful for the flexibility and partnership of the R-Phils, the artists, the sponsors, the volunteers, and the community," said Justin Heimbecker, executive director of Berks Arts. "While truncated from its original format, we certainly look forward to a beautiful Friday night of entertainment to finally make this new event a reality."
