Ben Stiller’s Favorite Kendrick Lamar Song Just So Happens To Be A Drake Diss Track
Kendrick Lamar’s lyrically assault against Drake has revealed that the rap star has a plethora of fans across the entertainment industry, as various stars have sung his praises over the past few months.
The latest notable figure to publicly give Lamar his flowers is actor Ben Stiller, who recently revealed that his favorite song from the Pulitzer Prize winner is one released during his rhyme war with Drake.
Upon word of Kendrick Lamar performing at the Super Bowl LIX halftime show surfacing on Sunday, Stiller appeared particularly stoked, as the 58-year-old reacted with an emphatic “Yes” to Lamar’s own social media post sharing the news.
Stiller, a self-professed rap fan, was then asked by his followers to name his favorite track from the Compton rapper, with one commenter in particular inquiring “What’s your favorite song Ben,” in reference to Lamar.
The Zoolander actor answered by naming Kendrick Lamar’s first official Drake diss track, “Euphoria,” as his favorite from the hitmaker to date, another testament to the song’s popularity and ubiquity. Released in late April, “Euphoria” peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 and garnered rave reviews from fans, critics, and musical peers alike.
Released in response to Drake following Drizzy’s own diss track “Push Ups,” “Euphoria” has seemingly become a favorite among thespians, as Sixth Sense star Haley Joel Osment also cosigned the song, which references the 1999 thriller, earlier this year.
