Barack Obama drops summer playlist, reading list

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — If you’re a fan of the song Little Boo Thang by Paul Russell, that’s something you have in common with former President Barack Obama, who dropped his summer playlist on the X platform Monday afternoon.

Nearly four dozen songs made the list, which Obama noted contained “an eclectic mix.”

Among those featured were 365 by Charlie XCX, You’ve Really Got a Hold on Me by The Miracles, If You Love Somebody Set Them Free by Sting, (I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction by The Rolling Stones, and Don’t Cry Baby by Etta James. (Texas Hold ‘Em by Beyoncé is another. We’ll call it a bonus track for our purposes!)
