Audra Should Be Worried About Her Future…And Her Life: July 17 Young and the Restless

Audra may be in trouble.

The July 17 episode of The Young and the Restless wasn’t a great one for Audra Charles. In fact, the co-head of Glissade might actually have reason to be worried about her future…and maybe even her life.

Get Rid Of Her

When Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) saw Summer (Allison Lanier) arguing with Kyle (Michael Mealor), she warned her daughter to stay above it all…at least in public. Summer complained about Kyle going to Paris with Claire (Hayley Erin) and Audra (Zuleyka Silver — who made a big change).

While Phyllis didn’t see Claire as a threat for Summer, she did seem to think that Audra could be one. In fact, Phyllis shockingly suggested they do something to “get rid” of Audra. Sure, she probably didn’t mean kill her, but certainly Summer and Phyllis could work hard to destroy Audra’s life.

Then, there’s the fact that Victor (Eric Braeden) has plans for Glissade that aren’t necessarily for the good of the company. It’s one of the vehicles he intends to use to get revenge on Jack (Peter Bergman). It’s safe to say that Victor sees Audra and her career as acceptable collateral damage.

Of course, Sally (Courtney Hope) ended up giving Audra a bit of a heads-up on Victor’s plan. She let Audra know that Adam (Mark Grossman — who wasn’t happy about THIS storyline) was going to head up Newman Media as part of Victor’s big plan, which gave Audra a bit of a heads-up. Or did it? After all, Victor is always multiple steps ahead of everyone else. Perhaps this little secret-spilling was something he’d planned on happening.

What do you think will happen? Will this situation finally lead to Audra’s downfall? Or, will she manage to come through unscathed as usual?
